The Royal Artillery Parachute Team is one of the premier freefall teams in the United Kingdom. With over 1000 parachute displays to their credit, and ranging from small village fetes to high profile events such as ‘Bournemouth Rugby 7’s Tournament and The Redbull Flugtag.
A team of 4 to 8 parachutists (dependent upon the occasion) will leave your audience spellbound as they hurtle earthwards at speeds in excess of 120mph. Once the jumpers have deployed their parachutes they will demonstrate their ability to fly their parachute with ease landing softly in the arena. The team may also perform difficult Canopy Formations by stacking their parachutes on top of another team member’s parachute.
Throughout the display our very experienced commentator and safety officer will entertain your audience. Upon completion of their display, the team will further entertain your audience with a military style line up and a demonstration of modern parachute packing methods, whilst being freely available to meet and answer all the questions that everyone wants to ask.
A freefall display is a great way to open or create a "Grand finale" or even as the ultimate attraction at many forms of outdoor event. Whether your event is a smaller village fete or even a larger high profile stadium jump the Royal Artillery Parachute Team “The Black Knights” will provide you with an outstanding display.

A team of four or more jumpers will exit the Aircraft between 2000ft and 5000ft and perform aerial manoeuvres before deploying their parachutes. They will make their way into the display arena trailing large flags and orange smoke.
Two or more jumpers may also attempt to build very difficult canopy formations and land these within in the arena. Once the jumpers have safely landed they will remove their parachute equipment, don their berets and form up, in order for the team to be presented by the Senior Team member to any event dignitaries or VIP’s. Whilst this is all happening our commentator will entertain the crowd, explaining what each team member is doing and some history of the team.
The team will then make their way to an area accessible by the public and will demonstrate parachute packing and answer any questions the spectators may have. It is also possible to have specific flags made for your event/company to increase marketing impact. Further details available by contacting the team.
